It's probably not an ethernet driver problem since you say can access
resources from the device without problems. Do you have a firewall
installed on the host computer or between the device and the host
computer?
You say you "compile the image" without firewall. If you had the
firewall removed from the image you could do a "sysgen" with "clean
before build" to be sure any traces of the firewall is removed.

Hi everybody,
I'm having some problems generating a Windows CE 5.0 image. The image
can access internet normally and connect to servers, but when a remote
application tries to connect to a program in WinCE (acting as a
Server), I get a timeout error. The same thing occurs when I use
PING... If I'm in WinCE pinging outside it works fine, but when I try
to use PING from another computer to the WinCE device I get the timeout
error. I've compiled WinCE without firewall and nothing different
happens.
Can it be a driver error? (I have a Intel 82559 Fast Ethernet Card on
the WinCE computer)
Am I doing some mistake when I compile the image?
I can't find a solution to this problem on google or any other place.
I need some help!
