You wish! LEAP is not supported by the Microsoft software at all. You can
use PEAP or EAP-TLS with the built-in MS software. You should verify that
those are not good options for you, because anything else is a long-term
project.
I would guess that each client that currently supports it is probably doing
LEAP negotiation a little differently, as far as how it plugs into the
stack. It would be, I think, theoretically possible to have a LEAP
component plug into the network stack in the same way that PEAP does.
However, there are no examples of that that I've ever heard of and my own
attempt ran out of steam after about a week. It's just not valuable enough
to pay for the investment that would be required.
Use a driver and a card that come with LEAP support is the best advice that
I can give.

Hello,
I'm looking at adding LEAP support into my device. I was hoping maybe
there
would be a registry setting to enable it :)
So far I can't seem to find many simple options. There are a couple
third-party full featured "Clients" that seem to be more then I really
need.
I am Assuming most of these replace wireless zero config and netui. And
because we're using Wireless Zero Config to configure our radio and our
device has a custom shell (i.e. I don't want a UI) I'm thinking we would
have
a hard time integrating these solutions into our system.
Is it possible to add an authentication protocol to the EAP sub system?
This way I don't have to remove any existing dependencies between wzc and
EAP
that already exist.
Has anyone had any success integrating LEAP support into their devices
(with
or without a shell)?
Thanks for you help,
Chris
.
