Hmm apparently something is wrong with my locales. I have changed the
locale for my platform (locale id 0813) and then my image is built
correctly. However, I get warnings indicating that "localization
failed" for several files (such as coredll.dll). This makes sense since
there are no built-in resources for this locale. I suppose english is
used as a default instead. Since I am on a headless device, this isn't
too bad...

Still, I wonder why it doesn't work when I set the locale to 0409 (US
english). All the .res files seem to be there...

While building my platform, I get the following error output:

In the past, I was able to build my platform just fine. Unfortunately,
I had to repair my platform builder installation. I installed all
available QFE's but now I get the above error. Does anyone know what
'exit code 110' means for makeimg.exe. Is there any way I can see where
it goes wrong exactly?
