Re: adding jpeg file into the platform



The easiest and least-intrusive way to change the desktop background would
be to change the registry setting that specifies the name of the BMP file to
use (it won't do JPEG, if I recall correctly), and then put a BMP file with
that name containing your desired graphics in the image by adding it to the
FILES section of the BIB file, as Chris said. I don't have the help for
registry settings for the desktop wallpaper in front of me...ah, here it is:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Desktop]
"Wallpaper"="<name of the bmp file>"

You can put the registry entries in the REG file corresponding to the BIB
file you changes, project.reg or platform.reg.

I am able to change the Skin now but it doesnt solve my puepose. Again the
main window is coming with the same desktop backgound.
I need my desktop background while emulator pops up.
Pls guide me how to modify my emulator image.

You simply need to add it to your platform.bib or project.bib. Search
help for more in BIB files

I have build one image using emulator x86 with the help of MSDN. It
worked properly.
Now I want to add my any .jpeg file to my build. Pls guid me how to do
so.
I mean I want to add anything as per my requirement (say I want to
change my desktop background), so how would I proceed for that.
