Depends on what you mean by "preserve ram package". If you don't use the RAM
based object store and mount a FLASH disk as the root of the file system all
your file data is preserved in the FLASH instead of RAM. If you mean is
there an equivalent to the "hibernate" option on Windows XP. Then, no. There
is not. However, you can implement that if you want in your devices OAL as
part of the power down sequence.
