Hi Any update on this? I am not able to complete my setup (online) from this
site.
Is the site working fine for others? Or there are other sites as well?
Please help.
TIA,

Sounds like something didn't install right. Uninstall then reinstall,
making sure you have admin privileges, antivirus turned off, etc.

Hi all,
I have installed Platform Builder 5.0 evaluation version from MS
partners site.
The problem is it doesn't ever allow me to create a New OS design from
exisitng catalogues(because there's none installed). Hardly what I can do
is
load the binary image in PB and try to download/debug it. It doesn't let
me
load a workspace as well, so I had to soleley depend upon The Command lIne
based build utility so far.
Is it a known issue with the evalutaion version? Or how can I load the
whole
workspace source for my platform (which is a CEPC) in Platform Builder and
set breakpoints etc to debug it?
Note: My Platform Builder always gives a messageBox on startUp saying
WINCEROOT is not set. Set it from tools->options bla bla. I tried to set
it
to my WINCEROOT called C:\WM500 but it denies to set it. So I went and
checked the directory structure and created an empty catalogue folder
(don't
remember the path now) and then the problem was removed. But still
whenever I
wanted to create a new OS design the Wizard crashes and PB closes.
How do I proceed further? Or is it ok to switch back to PB4.2
version(which
was stable for me) . Will that work with WM5.0 AKUs?
thanks in advance,
soum
