Paging in Windows CE

I'm trying to understand what "Paging" means under
Windows CE.

It seems to be different from Windows XPs pagefile?

I havent seen good explanations on MSDN, the registry
setting "Paging" for storage manger is explained "Set to 0
to disable paging. Set to 1 to enable paging. One is the
default", which isn't too helpful.

Can anyone please point me to a better summary, or
maybe outline the "big picture" of what Paging means
in WinCE, and maybe compare it to how a pagefile
works for WinXP? Why would or wouldn't I use
paging in a system? What does a normal PDA
based on Windows CE use? I have no real-time
requests.

It would be very helpful, so thank you!
