Re: Alternatives to TFAT?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

IPSM has a different model than the MSFlash drivers. It is not a filesystem
that runs on top of a block driver. IPSM is a complete solution and manages
the flash directly. It only works with Intel flash (and possibly some
clones).

The advantage with IPSM is that you can XIP from the same flash device that
you are using for storage. The MSFlash driver does not support that model.

Talk to Intel about IPSM. TFAT REQUIRES the underlying block driver
support atomic sector operations. IPSM may or may not support that.
