I expect there are still issues with certain USB mass storage devices,
as described in previous posts.
With the problem I had previously posted about (which I think was
different from what others had reported), it turned out to be a power
supply issue - our host port did not have sufficient bypass capacitance
(the spec calls for a minimum of 120uF per host/hub port), so that when
a CompactFlash card was plugged into our USB-CF adapter, the inrush
current to the CompactFlash card caused too much of a voltage drop at
the host end, causing the device end to reset (and thus lose all state
information). The WinCE driver (not surprisingly) doesn't handle this
sort of thing too well...
I beleive most of the other problems reported by others were related to
mass storage devices that didn't support particular scsi commands
(scsimodesense6 or something like that). I don't think MS has fixed this
problem (at least I haven't seen any mention of it).

Nobody has a problem with USB mass storage?.

Hello,
I want to ask if a problem with USB mass storage driver in Win CE 5.0
had been solved. I red all messages posted in this newsgroup but I did
not find any complex solution. We still have problem with some USB keys
on PXA270 platform.
Thanks.
