Uninstall of CE 4.2 causes problems

I have a Windows 2000 SP4 computer that had Windows CE.Net 4.2 and Embedded
C++ 4.0 installed. I needed to uninstall the programs. After the uninstall
the computer still has the WindowsCE Log along with the Security, System,
and Application logs in the Event Viewer. Also, the Application Log shows
the following 14 times in a row in the course of 1 second every two hours:

Event ID: 404
Source: ESENT
Catagory: Database Page Cache
Description: services (224) Synchronous read page checksum error -1018
((1:55 1:55) (0-4949528) (0-4950342)) occurred. Please restore the databases
from a previous backup.

It looks like there must be some reminance of Windows CE.Net on this
computer. How can I totally clear CE.Net off without reinstalling
everything?
