No, as far as you looking for the answare
why it doesn't boot when uploaded from PB ...
you still have upload image from PB using the
"Attach device" function. But in the same time
have a serial cable attached to the serial port
on your board. Normally you will se some trace
output on the serial port from bootloader and
possibly from OS. This however depends on
the OAL implementation ...

No, I don't mean Platform Builder's debug window, this will
work only if you have KITL enabled.
Just use RS232 null-modem cable to connect the board with
your PC. Then use Hyperterminal or whatever you
want to catch trace output.

In the my debug window there are this message :
Warning: Debugger service map is set to none. If your image has debugging
support it may not boot properly.
Cannot access selected Device from service host.
Debugger could not initialize connection.
The Kernel Debugger is waiting to connect with target.
The Kernel Debugger has been disconnected successfully.

Well, what does the trace output show? Can you see any
output from the serial port during the boot phase?

Yes, in the Settings/Build Options dialog there are checked only "Enable
Eboot Space in memory" and "Enable Full Kernel Mode".
This appened when I create a platform with "Via ProSavage/Twister CEPC"
support; if I create platform with "CEPC X86", after press "Connect device"
operative system run correctly.

Make sure KITL/KDBG are both disabled
(check Platform Settings) if you don't need
debugging, or both enabled otherwise. Also
for debugging you will need to setup
"Debugger: KdStub" in the Connectivity
Options dialog.

hi all,
I've generated my platform thougth BSP of ViaArena. IF startup my device
with boot disk, thougth PB (Attach device function), the upload procedure of
NK.bin run correctly but operative system don't start. Why ?
If I put the same NK.bin generated in my CompactFlash and reeboot, operative
system start correctly.
thanks
