problem with VS2003/NET CF and sdauthutildevice.exe on CE5 platform

I'm trying to debug an VS2003 project on our device, a pxa270 running
CE5 (all QFE:s including Q3 2005). I'm running Win XP Pro SP 2
(Swedish), VS2003, Windows CE .NET Utilities v1.1, CE5.0 (QFE Q4 2005).


Now, I am able to launch sdauthutildevice.exe on the platform with no
problems. I select the network device and press start. I switch to
VS2003 and launch the auth util (installed Windows CE .NET Utilities
v1.1). I type in the ip address of the device and press "Set up
Device". While this creates some activity on the device (debug output
attached below), the pc-side util allmost immediately display a
completely empty, fairly large message box (it is blank, not even the
caption on the button is displayed!!!). The pc side util display
"status:connected".

Now, looking at the device, there is one key "pubkey.blb" created in
the root directory. However it is 0 bytes large. The other keys are
missing.

Clearly something is going wrong here, but since the message box (that
probably tries to display some important error message) is blank I have
no clue to what's wrong.

I'm running out of ideas here, and i desperatley need some help!
