I cant tell for sure, but I'd guess quite a lot of games out
there use GAPI to access video memory directly. I might
be wrong but my guess is that a lot of those have made
the assumption that the video memory has 16bpp, and
that means they wouldn't work. I would personally
advise you to not write an 18-bit driver.
