Thanks a lot for your reply ... !
I will try skipping the test near the ERROR: Invalid PCMCIA
configuration data 0xFF, but I have checked on the MainstoneII baord
and this test is working fine on that board ... I have been able to
download the OS image also using the CF_LAN card on the MainstoneII
board using the EBOOT menu options ...
Ya, I also agree with you when you say that I have not been able to
read anything useful from the CF-memory card ... but I looked into the
code (ether.c) and found that it is supposed to work with the NE2000
compatible cards only ... normal memory cards would not work anyways
....
