The certification process already does that. The certificate contains an
encrypted signature which includes an MD5 hash of the entire module.
therefore the signature validation also validates the module was not altered
in any way since being signed. If you want to implement something other than
a digital signature then you are entirely on your own to implement the
certification functions as you see fit.
