How to change brightness and contrast of a bitmap?

Hi all,
In my application, after displaying the bitmap in the screen, I wanna
to let the user change the brightness and contrast of the image by
pressing the 5-way key......i have searched the msdn help but it seem
there is no such function........I wonder if anyone has met this
problem before and how to solve it?
