Should EDBG use the same NIC as the one used by eboot?

hi

i am designing a ethernet debug library for intel 82559 card. i have
added the necessary interface to include the library in the EBOOT and
the OAL. also, i have removed RTL support from the OAL.

now, i am downloading the image with RTL EBOOT. however, after
downloading when PCI scans the NICs, it searches for RTL and it does
not find the support for it. but again it does not check for intel
82559 card. both the cards are in the CEPC.

why the control is not passed to 82559 lib?

does it mean that ethernet library should use the same network card as
the one used by eboot?

anticipating for reply.

.
