Filesystem stabilty

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi All!

We still have problems regarding the filesystem stability during multiple
power down/up cycles. We have concluded there are issues with reseting the
device after power levels fall below the required levels. We have even tried
to put the device to sleep and then reset the device after some time (approx.
5 seconds) without removing power. Corruption of the filesystem is still the
case.
We are using Msflash and TFAT filesystem on the PXA255 platform with 2 32MB
flash chips both connected to the nCS0 line. First 16MB are reserved for the
bootloader and image which is run from RAM, 48MB of flash is used for the
filesystem. Flash chips are 28F256J3C125 Intel strata and we have VPEN pins
connected to the 3.3V and RP pin on RESET. Please help.

Thanks,

Jernej Turnsek
