Thanks!

My next question is then of course; How do you do it? I'm not asking
for the final solution but which way to take. Are there any API like
CreateFile and DeviceIoControl to read/write raw data from a disk
including MBR and boot sectors? I've noticed there are a number of
HEX-editors on the market, how do they access the disk byte by byte?!
Of course ReadFile works in that manner but can I access the MBR with
it?

Sincerely,

Nicklas
