network configuration control panel app question in CE.NET 4.2

Selecting "Start/Settings/network and dial up connections" launches the network and dialup connections contorl panel app.

Is this connpnl.cpl?

I found that SYSGEN_CONNMC is what is set to get connpnl to be built but what feature is tied to SYSGEN_CONNMC?

Next, if I select "Advanced/Advanced Settings", I get a list of network adapters.

1. I can change the order from this application. How do I change the order programatically or from initial registry settings.

2. Is there a benefit in changing the order of network adapters?

3. The connections are listetd by name with a "(20)" after each item. What does the (20) mean?
