May I ask for a more detailed explanation, or a resource so I can learn more? I wondered about this myself a whle ago. I have 64 MB of RAM and saving the RAM in some of the holes on my platform seemed risky only because I did not know why they were there and did not want to disturb some unknown dependency boiled into the BSP.
