Just my $0.02. In theory their (MS) plan with CSP and PLATFORM\COMMON code
makes sense,
I really love it. However it was not enough horse power to fully implement
it. Some CSPs a
still very "board" dependent :( eg. PXA CSPs a full of the FPGA related
things which is
part of the reference board they use for development and not a part of CPU!
