Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

hi corey,

1.
"In public\servers\oak\GWAdmin\html\RGUI_DeviceConfig.htm, go to
> the end of the file and change the script from: "

was " > BuildMainTable("Please name your device", "", "ShowBoth()"); "
the part responsible for looping until i modify the device name and apply
the change? I don't know html/java scrpt prog. so, please do confirm whether
this is the reason why it was going back to the same deviceconfig.htm until
i modify the device name and apply it?

2.
The main problem which i was facing was the host machine being unable to
access the shared folder after some time.....and guess what was the reason
for that?

Your note there saved my day...i just stumbled on this note before i saw
your post here....And the PC which i was using for testing had win 2000 with
kb885250 installed. ;->. so, i had to uninstall that kb and things seem a
lot better now. This hotfix should be giving problems with both wince 4.2
and 5.0 right?

3.
Yeah, i had seen your post few days back....It was pretty much
informative... It was the one which made me think about contacting you,
which led to your blog site...and hey presto! So, thank you for putting up
that note on your blog.
