The picture is quite simple. The processor has special function register
memory mapped in the range from FFFEF000 to FFFEFFFF (size: 4k). It is not a
RAM region as I errornously stated in original post.
Regarding your questions...
In Wince300 I needed an page table entry to map the linear address to
phyical address.
Small means, the 4k range is smaller than the 4M range requested in
OEMAddressTable.
I need to access them from inside the OAL i.e. during initialization of
interrupts, but also later in OEMIoControl.
I used region as synonym to range, sorry.
