Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply. I'd love you to be right on this one, but I have some
doubts.
If I look in PB4.2 I see 'Direct3D' in the catalog, when I look in PB5.0 I
only see 'Direct3D mobile'. Although these two are simular, there is
potential a lot of porting effort + making up for functions that are not
supported by D3D mobile.
I got this from a MS chat :
Q: Will CE5.0 still support 'regular' Direct3D?
A: No CE 5.0 does not support Direct3D, use Direct3D Mobile
Q: We have a Direct3D application running on CE4.2, does this mean we have
to port to Direct3D mobile to run this application on CE5.0?
A: Yes

So would you think it would be possible to 'pull it off' to get DirectX from
4.2 to run on 5.0 ? (we might have access to the source code of the display
driver)
