It sounds like a) you didn't include a driver for the card you're using, b)
you don't have the resources used by the card or the PCMCIA slot itself
properly configured in the registry of the device, or c) you don't have the
interrupt OAL code set up correctly.

Capture the serial debug output messages from a DEBUG version of the OS and
post them, if you can't see the problem yourself.
