Hi Osama,
I tried to reply before, but the Google groups interface seems to have
lost the message.
I am developing a WinCE 4.2 platform that includes the Intersil driver
as well. We are using a D-link Air DCF-660W wireless card.
I have had similar experience - the driver and wireless zero
configuration work perfectly in the debug build.
However, in the retail build it does not even detect the card and load
the driver.
If, however, I modify the registry to include the Plug and Play Id for
the card
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\PCMCIA\D-Link-DCF-660W-422B]
"Dll"="ndis.dll"
"Prefix"="NDS"
"Miniport"="ISLP2"
the intersil driver is apparently loaded - the LED on the card begins
to flash and ipconfig now reports the new ethernet configuration.
Ethernet adapter [ISLP21]:
IP Address ........ : 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask ....... : 0.0.0.0
However, the LED continues to flash and the card is never assigned an
IP address. (ipconfig continues to report 0.0.0.0) and wzctool reports
"Error: Failed WZCEnumInterfaces() call."
Is there a problem with the retail build??
I am targeting a PXA255 (ARMV4I) based platform
