I assumed 5.0 and 4.x are very similar -- perhaps they are not. My
exposure to 5.0 is just beta and haven't had time to evaluate it
properly yet. Where I work, once it works we ship it, never looking
back :) I do hope to be able to play with it soon, once all the dust
settles.
Well, how about hitting it with a hammer (figuratively) to make sure it
builds by putting a deliberate error in the file. (For me that comes
easy, because I always forget a semicolon somewhere on the first try :)
Do a clean, rebuild to make sure that the build fails. If it does,
clearly that microsoft suggestion doesn't quite work, for whatever
reason.
