Secondary IDE slave

Hi,

How can I make Windows CE detect a hard disk connected to the second IDE
as Slave? If I connect it as MASTER it is detected. The hardware is an
embedded
PC.

I can successfully access the hard disk with the same configuration using a
DOS disk or FreeBSD.

Thank you a lot for the attention.
Mello
