He wasn't guessing at the solution, that was the answer to your question.
If the memory is
a) initialized properly in hardware
b) mapped in via the OEMAddressTable
c) Made available to OS via config.bib, it will be available for use.
If you're not seeing it, one of those items hasn't been done correctly.
Most likely, your config.bib is wrong. Could be something as simple as an
environment variable not being set the same way in CE5 as it was in CE42.
That is all specific to your platform, no one here can answer the question
without more info.
