More problems with DHCP clients

Hi there

I have a device running a Windows CE 4.20 built by an hardware vendor. I
need to connect a LAN using a Cisco Aironet 350 wireless adapter, configured
to get dynamic IP address via DHCP. During my tests, I experienced the
following strange behavior:

1) If I configure my AP (D-Link DWL 700) to operate as DHCP server, and I
keep it isolated from my company LAN (that is, I build a small workgroup with
a couple of PCs), the device successfully gets a valid IP address, which is
reachable from other PCs in the workgroup.

2) If I disable the DHCP feature of the AP, and I connect it to my company
LAN (where a DHCP server already exists), the device fails getting the
address. Strangely enough, if I look at the leased addresses of the DHCP
server, I find my device's MAC address and network name associated with a
valid IP address, that is not pingable.

3) If I repeat test 1 (getting a valid IP address), and then I connect the
AP to my company LAN, the device is no longer reachable.

Please notice that also in case 2, my laptop succeeds connecting the
wireless lan using its built-in adapter.

Is there any difference in DHCP client implementation for Windows CE ? Is
there any parameter I have to tune ? Finally, can anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance
