CEPC dies after x86init

in watching the output (via serial port), my CEPC returns the following:

That's it, then nothing. Any thoughts on what could be the cause of this
would be most appreciated. I can take the hard drive from the web pad unit ,
mount it in a PC and CE.NET will boot just fine...
