Hi all,
Is Pocket Internet Explorer HTMLView (WEBVIEW) requried for .NET compact
framework? There is not direct dependency between these two. But I found
this required component from MSDN, "Developing Your First .NET Compact
Framework Application for Windows CE .NET 4.1" by Mike Hall and Steve
Maillet in April 4, 2003. I could have tried it out instead of asking. But
the webview component is huge: taking up around 2MB space. If it is
necessary, I have to give up some other features in order to make enough
room for it.
My real problem is that I can run any .NET cf application. The .NET Compact
Framework 1.0 is included at my CE 4.2 platform. I clicked/ran .NET cf
applications and nothing happenned. Not even a warnning. I checked the
config.h and every required component seems to be there. What am I missing?
Many thanks!
Derek
