Performance issue between 4.2 and 5.0 on SMDK2410

I'm working on the SMDK2410 evaluation board using a Samsung S3C2410
ARM chip.

PB 4.2 and 5.0 both provide a BSP for this evaluation board.
After correcting some minor bugs (most on timer counting) the result
is here : The same board with Windows CE 5.0 is almost TWICE slower
than with Windows CE 4.2 !!

This result is the same using OSbench, or other internal performance
programs (even the simpliest ...). I checked everything (bus speeds,
DMA configuration, RAM timing, cache configuration), it is all the
same on the two version of Windows CE. But the fact is here ...!

I really don't see at all what could be wrong (Indeed, there *must* be
something wrong ... ). Any help would be greatly appreciated !
