Installing Platform Builder

I am trying to install platform builder, but I do not have enough hard drive
space on my PC so I am trying to use a network mapped drive. Setup returns an
error message that it cannot set security settings on the directory and
quits. How can I bypass this. I do not need special security settings on my
directories and files.
