I'm using Windows CE 5.0. I have an Intersil Prism 3 based WiFi STA
card in a CF slot. I also have an Ethernet port that VMINI is on and
a RAS dialup connection that a 1XRTT modem is on. I want to share the
1XRTT connection with anyone connected in Ad-Hoc mode to the WiFi card
and anyone connected to the Ethernet port (VMINI). I want to be able
to hand out IP addresses to any client connecting via WiFi Ad-hoc or
VMINI. I have tried following both the Gateway configuration and
alternatively the Native WiFi AP configuration models in the platform
builder documentation. I have no success in either configuration
(accounting for the specifics of my platform in the example
configuration of course). I have even tried a simplified
configuration where I get rid of RAS and simply try to share the VMINI
port with any client connected via Ad-Hoc WiFi. Still no success. I
have also tried turning off and on the zero config feature but have
found no way to configure the Intersil card without zero config turned
on.
I'm looking for help getting this stack configured properly. This is
currently critical path on my project. Thanks.
