True, it looks like there is quite a few libs for the PXA255.
For the most part they look like they are carried over from the 4.2 days,
with just a little attempt at clean up.
I was not too impressed with the 4.2 stuff as it looked like a jumbled mess
of files collected over the years from many different sources and as far
back as the StrongArm days. There was no naming convention or any attempt at
consistency.
The PXA27X's (next generation Xscale) 5.0 implementation's looks like a
total rewrite, is heavily typed and very well named and structured. All the
low level primitives are separated into a nice concise library (XLLP ...
Xscale Low Level Primitives).
For the most part the 27X is backward compatable with the 25X but there are
some gotch ya's.
I started to develop a similuar structure for the 255 but its quite some
work.
I would be willing to trade files if some of you are willing to split up the
work.
