windows media player localization

Hi-
I'm porting an os build to french, german and spanish versions. I have been
able to translate everything in the image except windows media player.
Microsoft doesn't allow access to the media player source (as it does with
IE), so I'm not sure how to localize media player. Is there a way that I can
access the .res files or anything else to translate the application? Or can
I obtain a localized version of windows media player from microsoft?
Also, do the microsoft copyright statements need to be translated or can
they be left in english?
Thanks!
