Appreciate the prompt reply, Steve. It turns that it works through
any network device other than ActiveSync (Serial on USB). Moreover,
if the ActiveSync is connected, no UDP packets of mine start flowing
even if the socket is explicitly bound to the IP address of another
network adapter. Does the ActiveSync have a embedded packet filter /
firewall?
