In WindowsCE 4.2 and 5.0 we ship a file server that should be able to do
what you need. There isnt any UI to integrate share (or permissions) into
the shell, but this should be easy if thats what you need to do.

Please look into the SMB server registry settings in the MSDN for more info

| Hello everybody,
|
| I want to make it possible for users of our industrial CE
| controller to share folders like on other windows systems.
| The samba file server works fine, but the 'sharing' option
| is missing in the right-click mouse menu. Does anybody
| know an alternative to enable users to control their
| shares? I don't want to share folders by default because
| of security reasons.
|
| Thanks in advance.
