Hi,
I have what I think is a PB 5.0 bug - anyone have a work around for this?
Created a workspace project using the wizard. Added ~100 source files that
are in the same directory as the .pbpxml file. Takes ~10 minute for PB to
do this.
Close PB, then reopen. Open the previous workspace (the one with the
project). Goes through all of the "catalog" and "feature" stuff and then
when it would seem it would be opening the project it goes out-to-lunch
(blank client area) for ~10 minutes then recovers. During this time Task
Manager shows cepb.exe's mem usage climbing up to 240+ MB in use and then it
suddenly drops back down to ~30 MB in use when it recovers.
Can I not have this many source files in a project? About half are .h files
and half are .cpp files. Of course we can't have every developer taking a
10 minute break every time they need to open the workspace.
BTW, that's only with 100 source files. The whole real project has at least
three times that many.
Same thing happened with a "sources" project.
