I have been able to get USB mmeory sticks to work with a CEPC (actualy similar) BSP:

Some of the catlog items in it are:
Device Drivers: USB Host: OHCI
              : Storage: ATAPI PCI/IDE Storage Block Driver

Mobile Hand Held(Display Based devices): File Systems:Storage Manger: Fat File System
                                       : Core OS: OHCI Host Controller etc/USB Storage Class Driver
