can you tell me how to learn making bootloader easily?

accord to pb help,In some cases, code examples are code fragments and may be code brought together from different parts of the boot loader development process. Because of this, not all the code examples used can compile.i can`t learn it quickly and easily.
i want to modify an existing boot loader OS image for a platform of similar design,for example,modify ARMINTEGRATOR EBOOT in pb,but i don`t know which sub-directories i should see and modify,can you tell me this?

is there any other ways to make bootloader more easily?
