Good morning,

I have noticed the following strange behaviour in Platform
Builder 4.2.

Create new platform, like enterprise web pad, with
standard networking components, based on Nat Geode (x86)
BSP. All that is built into PB 4.2 and no third-paty code
is needed.

The wizard which creates the project above inserts drivers
for PCI bus and also for Intel 82365 PCMCIA card. At least
this happens on my PC when I agree with that default
setting, which includes wired and wireless networking
components.

Since the platform I paln to target does not have PCMCIA
adapter nor 802.11 cards, the wireless lan part is not
needed and just taking extra space, and this is to be
removed. Doing so many parts disappear properly, but
PCMCIA part is getting stuck in platform window. Whan
tried to hit Del key on it it re-draws window with PCMCIA
deleted and immediately redraws it again adding PCMCIA
back again. Weird ?!

When I hightlight PCMCIA line in the platform window and
go to Dependencies, it shows none :((

Whey then can't one delete the stuck component from
platform ? Am I missing something ?

The only workaround would be to create a new platform
again running though wizard and uncheck wireless lan parts
at that time, since there will be no way back

Sincerely
Sergei
