About PPPOE issue.

Dear all:
   Could anyone tell me the difference between CE's pppoe and PC's pppoe ?
   For many times, I can dial successful with PC, but fail with CE.
   This may caused by the CE side pppoe.
   Is there need some configurations on telcom side ?
