Hi,
I need persistant registry on the target, so i followed the articles
in this group. I am not quite sure abt my settings so far. Changes i
did so far are as follows:

1. Added the hive-based registry from catalogue
2. I disabled DMA in platform.reg and also added the "ATAPI PCI/IDE
Storage
Block Driver". I added the m_fDMAActive = FALSE in the diskman.cpp. I
then rebuilt the platform itself. I did not compile the diskman.cpp by
itself. The platform is rebuilt with no errors. Do i still need to
compile diskman.cpp in eVC++.

The target device is a ARMVI processor. The target has \IPSM where
files can be copied to for persistence. The target also has 32MB
flash. I am lost over here. Which do i specify and how do i specify as
the final location for the registry files to reside? The registry file
i have modified is related with the wireless CF card that i am using
for the target. I want to make the wireless settings persistant over
different platform images downloaded to the target. Right now i add
the modified registry file as a part of the image. But when i download
the image to the target, certain settings are not retained which i
want to fix by being able to load the modified registry file.

The wireless CF card registry file is the one in which i am adding the
HIVE BOOT SECTION tags around the drivers section and also Comm
registry entries.

Experts please guide me. Do i need to change my approach. Any thoughts
will be greatly appreciated as i am stuck for the moment.

Thanks,
Annie
