Sorry for the OT post, but we're looking to fill the following position:
Senior Design Software Engineer
Applied Data Systems, a rapidly growing, pre-IPO high tech company in
Columbia, Maryland, has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior
Design Software Engineer with extensive experience in real-time embedded
systems and Windows CE. Candidate will be accountable for analyzing and
defining system/software development and integration. This individual will
also be responsible for integrating operating systems and our embedded
single board computers. Experience in project management preferred.
Requirements:
- Programming experience with ARM processors, Windows CE, VxWorks, or Linux
- Recent experience with writing low level device drivers
- Need 5+ yrs embedded experience plus minimum of 2+ other general work
experience
- Programming languages must include C/C++ and some Assembly
- Win32 and Platform Builder experience helpful
Education:
- BSEE preferred; might consider BSCS
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills are a necessity
- Must be able to work equally well in a team environment or independently
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
