Updating an iPAQ

Hi all,

I'm newbie platbuilder devloper and I'm working on the implementation
of some DirectX (dshow) applications for PocketPCs.
As I found, using DirectX is only possible under CE .Net 4.x OS.
The problem is that I have iPAQ H.3970 working under PocketPC 2002.
My quesion is: Can I update my iPAQ to Windows CE .Net 4.2 through
Platform Builder 4.2 ? (Knowing that i have an MSDN AA version of
Platform Builder 4.2)

If there is someone having an experience with directShow for iPAQ, I
would appreciate his help ;=)
