Problems adding an SMB share to device's root

Hi,

I'm having problems sharing a device's root. I'm trying to add the
following SMB share:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\SMBServer\Shares\root]
"Type"=dword:0
"Path"="\\"
"UserList"="@*"

The share shows up in the list of network shares, but it's empty when
i try to access it. I've successfully managed to add shares to other
non-root directories, so my problem is really limited to when i try to
share the root.
