display resolution

I made a CE 4.2 image for a VIA platform starting from standard CEPCx86.
When I run the image on the target I have 640x480 resolution.
If I go in the display properties window I don't have any change resolution
control panel.

How can I change the resolution to 800 or 1024 ?
